Il 2, 3 e 4 Novembre 2009, dalle 11.00 alle 19.00, alla Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro di
Milano si terrà il workshop CHANDELIER LIVE VIDEO ENSEMBLE, un seminario di live video ideato e curato
da Claudio Sinatti, in collaborazione con la Fondazione e con la partecipazione di Teho Teardo.
Il 5 novembre alle 21.00 si terrà la performance finale con Claudio Sinatti, Teho Teardo ed i partecipanti al workshop.
La performance sarà eseguita utilizzando lo Chandelier, un particolare dispositivo per videoproiezione progettato da Sinatti.

Il progetto del laboratorio nasce dalla collaborazione tra Claudio Sinatti e l’associazione O’Artoteca di Milano
ed è aperto a un massimo di 10 persone.
I partecipanti saranno guidati nella produzione ed esecuzione in pubblico della performance audiovisiva.
Le attività del workshop comprenderano: costruzione ed uso di strumenti di visualizzazione del suono in tempo reale,
analisi dello spazio scenico e del dispositivo di proiezione, poetica del livemedia e dell’improvvisazione di gruppo.

Finally finding some time to tidy up the hard drives and update the website.
Posted lots of recent productions and a bunch of older projects I’d left back.
More stuff coming, so check back soon.

A live album will be released soon on Baskaru and will probably include some video tracks with footage from a gig in Firenze in 2006.

It’s been ages since I posted something.
Must recap a little before the gap gets unfillable.

This past month has been very busy.
I’ve just finished production for Renato Zero’s tour and started working on Negramaro’s.
With everything else thats going on it looks like my summer holidays could well be at risk.

It’s also been a busy period for gigs and workshops.

Eddy Palescandolo and Tiziana Di Caro invited Olivier Lamm and me to perform a Carillon Chandelier Session in a beautiful church in Salerno at the beginning of May.
Bzk was so kind to shoot some footage of our performance, so I’ll put something online very very soon.
For now here’s some photos from him.
Andrea Di Cesare helped out with installing the Chandelier that, for the first time, was sent to destination with a courier.
This solution turned out to be much simpler than renting a van as I’ve done in the past and will definitely be the rule from now on.

Only just uploaded on youtube some extracts ( 1, 2, 3, 4 ) of the performance with Stephan Mathieu at the Triennale Museum in Milan in mid May.
I built a feed-backing version of the Carillon for this show that works very well with Stephan’s music.
A wonderful new toy for me to play with.

Stephan took some photos of the amazing space we played in while we were rehearsing.

We’ll be doing our Carillon Radioland on three screens again in Firenze on the 7th of June at Muv Festival.

Also online some pictures that Marita Cosma took during the gig with Massimiliano from Otolab at Leoncavallo in Milan last week.
Yes, the three screens is officially my favorite setup!

Ah! Almost forgot…Andrea managed to edit some footage of the Far From Here performance with Christian Fennesz at Netmage Festival in 2003.

This is the standard storyboard I’ve been using with the carillon.

Working on some new material that I’ll probabily be using on the 17th at the Fashion in Action event at IED Moda Lab in Milan.
I’ll be doing a 20min solo set with some music I asked Andrea and Rinus to create.
My video chandelier will also be set up and this will be the first time I use the carillon on it.
I’m very excited about this…

Saturnino will follow while I’ll have some fun visualizing his music.
